This women had undergone significant weight loss. Despite the weight loss she had substantial fullness in her neck. She desired neck rejuvination but was felt to not be a good facelift candidate. I offered her a direct neck plasty with removal of the skin, fat from her neck and tightening of her neck muscles. A direct approach neck plasty was performed. The incision was placed in a natural neck crease and would likely appear like a natural neck line over time. Post operative photos demonstrate the dramatic improvement of her neck contour.
