Policies / Procedures


All patients must have a scheduled consultation with Dr. Philip Solomon and/or his nurse to review their medical history and to determine their candidacy for surgery. Eligible patients are then qualified to proceed with scheduling their surgery at the facility of their choice. Solomon Facial Plastic offers surgery at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill and at our private surgical facility in Old Thornhill.

A deposit of $1000 plus HST is required to secure your surgical booking. Your consultation fee is credited at this time. All deposits are non-refundable. We do require 2 weeks’ notice should you need to reschedule your surgery to a new date. Should you notify our office within 2 weeks of your surgery, a fee of $1000 will be applied to make this change.

Patients with pre-existing medical issues will be required to undergo bloodwork and an ECG prior to surgery. A pre-op with an anesthesiologist may also be required if deemed necessary.

Patients must be 16 years or older in order to schedule surgery at the Solomon Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgery Centre. Patients may be as young as 15 years of age to schedule surgery in hospital.

Surgery Cancellation Policy

  • Your quotation is valid for 6 months from the date you receive it.
  • A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $2500 + HST is required in order to schedule your surgical date.
  • Full payment for your surgery is required 3 weeks prior to your surgery date.
  • We accept cash, bank draft, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Debit and e-transfer.
  • Bank Drafts are to be made payable to Dr. Philip Solomon
  • If full payment has not been received by the date indicated, we reserve the right to cancel your surgery.
  • If you cancel your surgery date at any time, your deposit of $2500 + HST will be retained and cannot be used for any other service.
  • If you reschedule your surgery within 3 weeks of your surgical date, your deposit of $2500 + HST will be retained and a new deposit will be required for your new date. There will also be a rebooking fee of $1500 + HST to obtain a new date.
  • If you cancel your surgery within 5 days of your surgery, you will lose 100% of your surgical fees.

When scheduling your surgery, we reserve OUR time and incur medical expenses for anesthesia and supplies for your surgery. Should you cancel or reschedule your surgery, your deposit is applied to these expenses in addition to administration time.


In order to best assist you, we require all cosmetic patients to schedule a virtual or in-person consultation. There is a fee of $200 plus HST for all consultations.
