Initially following your treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling and possibly some bruising to the treated area. We recommend you keep the area moist using Aquaphor as directed for the first 48 hours. You can expect the redness and swelling to subside 1-3 days following your treatment, however in some cases where a higher setting was used or if you’re prone to swelling, it can last up to one week. Avoiding direct sun exposure is very important and we recommend to all our patients that they use a good quality broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. Makeup can be applied 48 hours following your treatment or once all the lesions have healed. Follow up treatments are often beneficial to maintain results from your Fractora treatment.
