Medical Training

Dr. Solomon completed his medical school training at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete a five-year residency training program in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto, one of the world’s leading education centres for Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Solomon’s training focused on Head and Neck cancer surgery, Reconstructive Facial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Plastic Surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty and otoplasty surgery. Dr. Solomon also traveled internationally to train with renowned experts in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. When he returned, Dr. Solomon went on to complete certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The ABFPRS is the only certification process in North America that examines exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery of the face and neck.

Board Certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) is viewed as the premier credential in Facial Plastic Surgery within the domain of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. The certification process is rigorous and requires surgeons to have extensive training and experience in Facial Plastic Surgery to be eligible to sit the exam. Dr. Solomon has co-mentored a clinical fellowship in Nasal Physiology and Surgery and has been involved in Resident and medical student education in Nasal and Facial Plastic Surgery.
