The consultation process is most important as it pertains to undergoing any type of procedure with Dr. Solomon. When meeting with the doctor, all patients are encouraged to bring their questions, express their thoughts and concerns as Dr. Solomon looks to obtain a comprehensive understanding about what your goals are. Dr. Solomon will carefully and thoughtfully analyze your facial anatomy to succinctly determine what he can achieve. He will then outline all of the options available to you, and explain the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes you can achieve with the procedure you have chosen to undergo.
At Solomon Facial Plastic, we offer our patients advanced digital imaging that allows Dr. Solomon to show you a variety of different “looks” that you can “try on” in the office. Patients generally love this opportunity to visualize their options and to get an idea of what they will look like following their surgery. If you are seeking nasal or facial cosmetic surgery; or one of the several non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures; or are looking for ways to address the appearance of aging in the facial area, Dr. Solomon would be happy to sit down with you and to provide an in-depth consultation.
Patients come to see Dr. Solomon for many reasons, all of which are personal to each individual but is usually driven by the desire to improve some aspect of their facial anatomy.
– Some patients want to improve their self-confidence.. A face is our most visible and noticeable feature and is often the first impression. Not feeling good about you face, can lead to low self-esteem.
– Some patients have difficulty breathing. Many people find that the shape of their nose and septum causes difficulty breathing. For this reason, they come to Dr. Solomon seeking a rhinoplasty. Sometimes their concerns are a result of an injury while in other cases, they are due to genetic characteristics that a person was born with.
-Those who have suffered injuries to the face. It is not uncommon to sustain an injury to the face and to require some form of cosmetic surgery or procedure to help correct the damage left behind.
– Perhaps a facial feature is too large or too small. Sometimes a patient feels as if their nostrils or nose shape is too large, that their lips are too thin, their cheeks are too gaunt, or they are just unhappy with how they look overall. If a facial feature is unbalanced with the rest of your face, there are a number of surgical and non-surgical options to help correct and restore harmony.
– A lack of symmetry in the face or the desire to appear more attractive. There are a number of prominent facial features that may not be naturally balanced. Correcting asymmetry is a common reason to undergo cosmetic surgery and can be quite successful.
If your preference is to establish minor or major changes to your facial appearance, a consultation with Dr. Solomon will allow you to gather valuable information, be carefully assessed and be given thoughtful feedback.
