Patient Question:
Have you performed any rhinoplasty and/or septoplasty on Asians in the past. I would like to see examples of their results.

Answer Dr. Solomon
I have performed many Asian Rhinoplasty surgeries. Asian and African American noses share a few common elements. There is often a low bridge. Lack of nasal tip projection and often thick nasal skin. As well the base of the nose is often wide. All these elements can be addressed somewhat with cosmetic surgery. Each nose is different and therefore during consultation the exact goals of your surgery would be established.
You can see some examples of Non Caucasian Rhinoplasty Photos.  Patient number three is a typical example of an Asian women who had a nose job. Notice the bridge and the nasal tip were reconstructed. There are other photos available for viewing in my office.
