Is it possible to permanently get rid of stubborn fat without having to diet or exercise? Absolutely!!
Coolsculpting is a non-surgical procedure that uses a handheld device to freeze and destroy fat below the surface of the skin. The treatment is not used for significant weight loss, but for treating stubborn areas of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. The most common treatment areas are, abdomen, flanks otherwise known as “love handles”, the back, arms, and under the chin.
Good candidates for coolsculpting are men and women who exercise, who have a healthy diet, and are within 20 pounds of their ideal weight. A consultation with our Medical Esthetician is an essential part of the coolsculpting process to ensure that you are a candidate for the procedure.

Our Medical Esthetician will then design a treatment plan just for you to help you achieve your desired results. Due to the fact that everyone’s body type and shape are different, Coolsculpting has various sized applicators to ensure that you are targeting each area effectively.

During your treatment, both a gel pad and the applicator are applied to your targeted area. The Coolsculpting device will then deliver controlled cooling to the targeted fat cells. Most patients find the procedure quite comfortable and can often relax with a coffee, read and browse the internet.

Following one treatment, a patient can potentially lose approx 20% of the fat in the treated area.. Most patients can start to see results after 4 weeks with optimal results being visible after 12 weeks. Some patients may need up to three sessions per area depending on what their starting point is, in order to achieve their desired results.

A patient may also need their first session for “debulking” a treatment area, and then subsequent sessions to focus on sculpting. After your procedure, you may experience swelling, redness or bruising for about a week. However, what’s great about coolsculpting, is that most patients can return to work the same day. No needles, no surgery, no downtime.
