Thanks for your question. It is always difficult to make recommendations without seeing you or at least photos. You are welcome to email photos or to post them on the blog. In general nasal tip definition can be improved in some cases depending on your skin type. In some rhinoplasty cases the nasal skin is thick and therefore even if appropriate surgery was done there may be limits to the amount of definition one can achieve with rhinoplasty surgery. However not all surgeons use the same techniques. In some circumstances there is scar tissue under the skin that can be reduced to achieve better definition of the nasal tip. Furthermore in some cases a cartilage graft can be added to the nasal tip to enhance the tip definition. The bumpiness to the bridge often can be smoothed with revision rhinoplasty surgery. The dimpling around the chin implant may be based on the type of implant that was used. Some surgeons use a button implant which improves the chin size in the middle of the chin. These chin implants can have dimpling. A wrap around chin implant has wings which extend around the chin to prevent this problem. Dr Solomon

I am looking for advice about redoing and enhancing past surgeries. 12 years ago I had 2 rhinoplasties, chin implant, and blepharplasty. I was nerver fully satisfied with the results. Now that I am in my early 30's, I would possibly consider a revision on these procedures. A well known Ontario surgeon worked on me before, but I am looking for an honest answer to if it is advisable I go through this again. My nose is still not defined enough at the tip and rough on the bridge, and when I smile I get dimples around my chin where my implant is. Yur advise is greatly appreciated.
