In Canada and the United States Facial Plastic Surgery is performed by Facial Plastic Surgeons which are subspecialists in the field of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and trained in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck only. Also General Plastic Surgeons who are trained in plastic surgery throughout the body may perform facial plastic surgical procedures as part of their practice.
