What should I expect in the way of communication with my surgeon?
Your surgeon should communicate their opinion of your nose and the areas that can be improved with cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. Your surgeon should communicate the approach and surgical plan they have to achieve the results. The surgeon should also establish the relevant risks of the surgery. Rhinoplasty surgery is not 100 percent predictable or guaranteed. Your surgeon should be able to give you a realistic idea of what the likely outcome of your surgery. Computer imaging may help show what can and possibly cannot be achieved with rhinoplasty surgery.
