Face Lift
A facelift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that can create dramatic improvements to ones appearance, by treating facial fat, excess skin, and subcutaneous tissue laxity resulting from the aging process. Dr. Solomon tailors the operation to the patients needs. He generally performs a "deep
plane" facelift addressing the deeper structures of the face and the overlying skin. He
believes this gives a natural and long lasting result, without an operated, tight look.
Brow Lift
A browlift can be performed alone or with a cosmetic surgery procedure, such as a facelift. You will benefit from a browlift if
you have a low brow or deep frown lines. Dr. Solomon performs browlift surgery using
either an incision across the top of the head or by endoscopic browlift surgery.
Endoscopic browlift employs a long, thin telescope attached to a camera to work on
the structure of the forehead through tiny incisions.
Eyelid Surgery
Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Solomon utilizes two different approaches to lower eyelid surgery: one uses an
external incision and the other is performed from inside the lower lid. Your age, the
extent of the fatty deposits and amount of excess skin will determine which approach
is used. For upper eyelid surgery, Dr. Solomon uses an incision that is hidden within
the natural fold of the upper eyelid.
Facial Implants
Facial implants is a cosmetic facial plastic procedure that can create remarkable changes by adding balance and definition to underdeveloped features. Manufactured from a variety of materials, facial implants are
available to augment the cheeks, chin and jaw.
Liposuction
Dr. Solomon performs liposuction only of the head and neck. Liposuction is a
plastic surgery procedure that useful technique in treating fatty deposits within the neck. People who are not
overweight but have isolated areas of fat they cannot get rid of through diet are good
candidates for liposuction.
Otoplasty Surgery
Otoplasty Surgery, or surgery to correct protruding ears, can be performed at almost any age
though the cosmetic surgery is most often performed on children at age five or six when the ear
has reached full development. Adult ear surgery is also possible.
Advanta Facial Implants
Advanta is the newest technique available for improving deeper lines and wrinkles,
and for lip enhancement. It is much softer than similar products, providing a more
natural feel and smoother results. The improvements are permanent (although the
implant is removable). Naso-labial lines, lines between the eyebrows, depressions at
the corners of the mouth, and other deeper lines and creases can be treated, as well
as lip enhancement. (Advanta is not appropriate for fine or superficial lines.)
Advanta is made of a material called PTFE, which is similar to Gore-Tex. It has been
used safely for over 25 years in a wide range of medical and surgical procedures, such
as vascular grafts and hernia repair. The procedure is done in the office, usually taking
less than half an hour. Using local anesthesia, the Advanta implants are placed under
the skin through tiny incisions. Improvement is immediate. Mild swelling, bruising or
discomfort may occur, which resolves fairly rapidly.
